"Wherever I go now there are people who
have heard about, or themselves heard things I once did. By the end of the 70s
I found myself in direct competition with the commercial minimalism of Reich,
Glass, Adams; lots of little cutesy New Age composers who were diluting minimal
piano music to Richard Claydermann-like spiritual pissings; and the newer post-minimal
rock scene. I still believe in the pure sound approach to minimalism. I would
like the 'hidden history' (which is merely the unhyped history) to emerge, so
that people can listen and enjoy and understand how this kind of music really
evolved, and give listeners alternatives to these pompous operas and pseudo-minimal
symphonies, and the pop wrestling matches between these overblown minimal pop
gorillas. That's all. I think that given the right circumstances, I could again
in a climate of pure spontaneous sacred spaces present and perform music and
activities that would curl their hairs and knock their sacred socks right off

Pek farkına varılmasa da ( mütevazilik mi yoksa) bütün yükselen değerleri taşıyan Pluramon günün molası. 2003 çıkışlı albümü Dreams Top Rock böyle bir dönemin özetini geçmek isteyenlerin arayacağı bir albüm. Mille Plateaux'tan çıkan render bandits'ten sonra popüler müzik öğelerine ilginç bir geçiş barındırıyor. Bu albümün konuklarındaki 2 isim bize hiç yabancı değil: Keith Rowe ve Kevin Drumm.
